A New Camera?

Hmm, I really wanna buy this new camera I found at circuit city, it's not that great, but it will get the job done, and it comes with a printer, total coming out to $69.99 cuz it has all these rebates and stuff. I'm gonna need to buy a memory card coz it only holds like NINE PICTURES! But since it's all so cheap I don't mind about investing in some accessories, plus the printing paper and ink isn't so expensive if you look in the right places. I found a kodak printing paper and cartridge for under $20. Plus I don't think I will be printing them too much. But I really want it cuz I want my own stuff to go with my laptop, and this camera works as a web camera 2! So I can do video calls on our pc and my laptop! hehe. Well camp was fun, and Colleen's bday party was really cool 2!(it was a pool party)

K, today was my.... 2nd day at camp, it's pretty cool, none of my friends r there, but half the class is from my school, some are in my grade some are going to highschool next year. I know the two from my grade, and I've seen the other ones around school. One kid from another school is my friend YaYa's cousin. But it's really cool, we went the the ICU and OR rooms today, learned a lot too, and tomorrow we are going to draw our blood and c what type we are. I forgot mine, so we'll c tomorrow. O ya and I intubated a life-like dummy today--flawlessly!! ehehehe. It was fun. I just got back from Aunt Bea's house up the street, Babyclone thought we had left her home alone, cuz she sent mom this IM:

Summer Vacation is here, and I'm depressed that we aren't going to California. Well I got home at like 11 last night from Lillie's batmitzvah, and it was the best party evverrr!! I met a lot of peeple. It was cool. I sorta hung out with my "BFFs" but I really spent more time with sum of Lillie's friends who were cool. I didn't take many pictures, and I didn't take any of myself, which sux coz I loved my dress. But it's cool coz we were having so much fun! :D So here's a couple of pix and a video, it's not very good it's really shaky and all. Hey peeps, I was really interested by this article about a 7-year-old boy punished for eating with a spoon and fork as many filipinos are raised to do, so I went to see this article and I published this (very long :D) comment about it. Hey I'm another 13 year old(female), my mom told me about this article. I am also a filipino, but I am also African American--my mom is Filipino. I live in the US. And I have to say that the actions of the lunch monitor and principal at the school are very disappointing, but not totally surprising. And to the other teen that posted a comment on here I very much so disagree with you. We I too have been exposed to
somewhat negative racial outbursts, because I live in the deep south where I have for much of my life. It's not easy being a minority. But it's not easy being a person either. We're all in the same boat here. But we have to think of this 7-year-old boy, and also all human beings period. Right now, after we've come so far, we just can't afford to let little things like this go. If we just keep putting up with it we go back to where we were not too long ago. I mean, I'm all for choosing your battles, that is very important too, but if we just put up with everything, things can get out of hand, so we have to speak out.

Now, the "traditional" way Filipinos eat is considered to be done with a fork and spoon, and I don't think it is at all wrong nor disgusting! And in consideration of the comment that eating with a spoon and fork is eating like a pig, I would like to say, I NEVER KNEW PIGS COULD EAT WITH A SPOON, OR A FORK for that matter.

And also, when you say when in Rome at as the Romans do, etc. etc. it does make sense and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however, (I'm not saying I have memorized the Canadian laws or anything) I think he has the right, along with everyone else to eat with a fork and spoon. In public you are expected to have some common sense as toward manners, so when you're out around people in a PUBLIC setting you aren't supposed to eat with your hands (in most places) or feet or slurp up your food with your mouth, you're expected to eat with EATING UTENSILS i.e. SPOON and FORK! Now it would be different if he went to the Principal or School Monitor's house and ate with a spoon and fork, and they did not want them to, but in a school setting--a public setting it should be totally allowed.

We must not be silent, but we must not be outrageous. I personally expect an apology not only to the boy and his family, but to everyone, who has been touched, effected by this story or anyother like it.

Hey ya'll I'm so annoyed. Today we had our NJHS Induction Ceremony Dress Rehearsal, from the time school ended to 3:15. It was pretty....idk, boring... weird... funny... maybe... idk. Well anyways, my friends were pretty annoying though(Being B1tc#-y. sorry excuse my language). WeLL actually, maybe they aren't so much my friends anymore, where does that leave me, idk. We're just "aquaintances" or "classmates" now. Not friends. No more JACE, no more La2ey. Or anything like that. We're over. Well at least, my parts over, I'm not friends with them, in my mind anymore, I don't think they want to be friends anymore, and I blame it on Algebra. Stupid freaking algebra. So, The last thing I have to really do with them is Lillie's Batmitzvah. And I don't think we'll be getting ready together or anything, I don't really want to anymore, I know Colleen is going with Adrienne, and Jordan and Eire are prolly getting ready together but w/e. Forget it. I will just show up and leave.

Anyhoo. What else...Nothing else, I don't have to take the Algebra Exams, that's good. But other than that...life sucks. yep. So cya later.

Tuesday, Exams and a Cool Shirt

Hey ya'll well I've been purty busy lately. We are all jam-packed with stuff this month since it's our last full month before school lets out. So we have benchmarks, and end of year exams all in one month. This week (tues-thurs) we have benchmarks, and then friday I have an algebra test, then on monday (if I take them) end of course benchmarks for algebra students. Yep, then the ACTUAL exams, plus a Social Studies and Science exam later on. sheesh. Then I have 3 important forms to fill out for next year for, SGA, a summer camp for students pursuing careers as a doctor or nurse, and a form and money for National Junior Honor Society, so I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off asking teachers for reccomendations and writing essays. Wowza. I like being busy like this though, next year is going to be beast though. Because I'll prolly be in SGA, and some other stuff, I'm not sure if I will sign up for some sport, maybe basketball, then if I get in really good shape I am hoping to do swimming somewhere and ride horses!!!! if mi mama and papa let me. And of course, next year I'll be taking the ACT and maybe the SAT again, and then I'll be in Algebra II or Geometry which is always busy, and then.....band....aaanddd... I forgot what else it was...oh ya! volunteering. I have to do a lot of that to put on my resume for college. Phew next year is going to be biiiizzzayyy! But so is this summer, I'm getting signed up for sports, volunteer work and babysitting maybe, and of course hangin with mi possaay. So anyways cya later!!!

I just found my new addiction, and it's all my mother's fault. hehe, as you smarties can observe, I got this sexy image thing up above my content on here(tis the one with the cat pic in it). I made it myself, but I used images and stuff that were already premade (as the credits show) and it is F U N I am makin digital scrap books on here using packages like the one I used to make that image up ^there.^ So I am gonna document my whole school year on photoshop(the place where I make my scrap books). See I would be a beastly yearbook person. Unfortunately for them I am going to do SGA, Charlotte says I look like someone who would do yearbook. (The deals settled then isn't it? lol.) So ya I can't wait to sign up, Colleen says that they will open it up next week. >:) Everyone is doin year book so I have my fingers crossed that the ones that don't make it don't run for somin in SGA. So I can't wait for Summer and 8th grade, but it makes me wonder who my friends will be, I have a feeling the ones I have now won't be there.... ;(

GOTTA LOVE THAT JUICE!!!!!! Yep, today was a juicy day. This is my 2nd post of the day coz I'm so happy and I told Colleen I would make a post if she did 2. Since I got my new smoothie/juice book I have been juicing all day, I think I might even like juicing better than blending!!! aaah! I made...1...2..uh, 5 or 6 different juices today!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they did, Lilz, Ray and I were all very surprised at Jordan and Colleen going to the mall without inviting us, mostly we were surprised with colleen, becuz we had been talking to her ALL morning about going to the mall or something, and she didn't tell us she was going to the mall right beside my house with jordan. What's Next?

Hey evry1, for some obvious reasons, I CANNOT wait until school is over. What comes after school ends this year, is going to be pretty great. Over the summer, I'm going to probably just stay home for the first time ever since we moved from LA to NC in 1996. So we will mostlikely be spending our time fixing up things here at the house. We'll be painting our room that me and my sisters share, redecorating my side of the room, and selling things out of our garden. Then in November over Thanksgiving break and some time around that as well, we will be heading to the Philippines for the FIRST time EVER! too! 2006 looks promising from here, and summer will be really busy! I'll be babysitting, packaging and selling fresh produce AND also visiting some camps and stuff. So it should actually be pretty fun, but I'm really going to miss my family in California. So that's what's to come in a nut shell, today it's 90 degrees outside (in the midst of spring time) so we are going to be enjoying it out there and maybe go shopping later. BYE!

I m so boreeeed. Geez. I was gonna invite collyne ova today, to chill out b4 the party but I never called her. And plus it would be mean, coz she's gonna hang out then I'm gonna go to a prty with out her. Idk if Eire is cuming to the party today. Coz it's from 5-9 and her mom didn't wanna make a trip all the way from Bahama so late. I told her if she needed to, I could ask if she could just sleep over today, but she asked Jordan instead. well I have a lot of plans and what not this month here's a little overview:
1.Apr. 12 School Field Trip decided not to go bcuz I had a limit of things to go to and this was one of the least important to me.
2.Josh's Party Apr.8 YES! all my friends r going and all so it should b fun I m goin 2 dat, gotta rsvp soon.
3.Black Eyed Peas Concert, Apr. 18, I REALLY WANNA GO!! I think we mite, with the fam, colleen invited me to go w/her, but she decided to go to the field trip instead, coz she thought we were all going, but WE RNT!! I'm sorry colly!
4.Apr. 21 is Excellence, day, I want to go coz last time was really fun, and itz a cool day with my friends and all, but the skating rink is open again prolly (unless there is a miracle) and I CANT AND DONT WANT TO SKATE, but I'm sure ALL of my friends will want to so poop. I probably wont go, and plus I don't think I have any money for it.

tomorrow is my bday! hooray! lol! Last nite I went to baskinrobbins.com to look 4 a bday cake, I am getting vanilla with white sponge. Then I signed up mom and us 4 the birthday treat thing. Although I think it's too late 4 me, coz they send u ur stuff 5 days b4 ur bday, and well...obviously. So anyhoo, I'm all up and dressed but the sistas r still asleep. I m all ready to go almost. lol. I am not sure whether I wanna wear my halter top, so I am callin up colleen 2 c wat she thinkz. Hmm. I haven't asked mum if she's cool with invitin 3 o da girlz ova. Prolly end up bein 2 coz JDs momma mite not let her. :( well, if we dont do anything tomorra we can do sumin ova da weekend, coz I need to go shopping anyways, and I only like shopping at the mall if it's with my gurliez, coz if I go with Asi, mara and mom, I couldn't get ANYTHING done. >;P so I'm planning on Target, Platos Closet and Mall places on being my top clothing pix. And then I gotta make some trips to Target and Walmart to get some other stuff, speakers, bedding etc. I have a tight budget too, so I have to see how that all works out, clothing shopping will prolly turn out into less of a priority and I'll end up getting all my bedding and stuff first and using w/e meager supply I have left for clothes. hey ya'll like my new skin? "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" I didn't make it o course, but it is so sexy. I just finished stringing green beans for mom, and now I'm eating a lil' bit o macncheese. yum.

YAY! I'm so glad! One more day until my birthday! Tomorrow, I am goin 2 the regulator and bali hai with my girlz. And then going to Cauliflower's mom's job. Then the next day is my birthday!!! Mom is ordering a ice cream cake and then we r eating at Macaroni grill!!! :D yay! I wonder if me rents will let me invite 3 o the girls ova (coz lillie will b outta town :( ) to hang out during the day until mom getz home. that would b the beastiest day ever. yup yup. So now I gotta go google my recipes for the drinks coz I cant find my notepad where I wrote em. whoops. so I can post it on mum's blog.

Omgah only TWO more days until my birthday!! yay! Unfortunately though I can't do anything w/my friends. boo hoo. I wish I could invite one or two (coz there's no use dreaming about 3-4) over here in honor of my bday on Wed. But mom's gonna be at work so quit dreaming. I feel like spring break is pretty much over already. I was looking forward to staying at home today, but we gotta go to my Uncle's house, at least my cuzins will be there. humph, I wish I had a cell phone. :( is so sad. me no got one. my friends got sum. but not mee. boo hoo. so sad. LoL. Anyways. Bored. I really wanna stay home today. But I got no choices. hopefully on Friday, my momma will let me and my friends go out in honor of my b'day. And go to the mall, and shop or something. I hope we get to see eachother over the summer, coz the way this is going it doesn't seem that likely. :( If it's summer we should b able to see eachother, go over to eachothers houses, go swimming and stuff like that. I really need a bathing suit. I really need to go shopping. so cya.

four more days until my birthday!!! not that exciting anymore, just excited to go shopping and go 2 my b'day dinner. I'm really bored. I was looking forward to going on the 5K walk today, but it's cold and wet outside, and I'm really sleepie for some reason. But w/e. So later we will go to the mall or something to pick up a present for Bajon, I'm still not totally sure wat to get, coz every one else is getting sports stuff like soccer balls, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want 4 soccerballs, so I'll get him something else of the things ray told me, either like a book, or waterbottle or "gems" or something. idk. but anyways, I'm still sorta mad. But o well, I feel like staying home today, except for going out with my mom later to go shopping. so I will cya later.

o ya! heck yes...it's spring break!!! So glad. Now I'm bored n sleepie, but tomorrow should b FuN! first I am goin 2 the great human race, brite and earlie, then proooollly some shoppin and a quik bite 2 eat, then go 2 ray's bro's bday! should b cool. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO SHOPPING!!! AHHHHGH!! I got $54 dollars, but I still haven't gotten any b'day cards (cept of course fo my home dogg ray! who gave me mah first card today!), usually I would by now but w/e. I need to save mucho for my bank acct. I need money for summa and just for my savings acct. o course. but anyways, pep rally was pretty boring, day was pretty boring, another sucky day to finish up a sucky week! what is up w/that? idk. anyways. I got good news!! I got a 99%!!! on my Algebra test!!! heck ya who is hott!!!???? hehehehehe. I m so proud o my self. :D so anyways, I didn't tell any one today cept for kayliegh coz we were correcting ourz together, and my mom. bcuz I'm in a funky mood. so cya. ;P

only one more day till BREAK!! just tomorrow and it's done for a week! yay!! now about today, it was okay, very interesting....

1.Ms.V was crying when I left HR this mornin
2.Didn't have a twin coz my friends switched it up. poop u guys, so I was pouting all day, and trying to ignore them, o course, with jordan tis hard.
3.Algebra quiz was supa easy, I hope I got a good grade, coz I NEEEEEED to keep mah strait a's!!!!!
4.LOTZ OF SUDOKUS!!! I am doing them for extra credit in Algebra coz I NEEEEED to keep mah strait a's!!!!
5.Presented my cool-e-o (but not as cool-e-o as erin's don't compare toooo closely!!!) book project, and yesterday turned in my cool-e-o "And then there were none" proj, coz I NEEEEED to keep mah strait a's.
6. Algebra and Language arts r the only classes I'm supa worried about. go figure huh?

Anyways, B2D and sorta mad but sorta happy coz it's break time. I'm not sure I want to do much w/my friends over the break. BECAUSE PPL @ SCHOOL SUCK!!!!! omg I'm so pissed right now. Just let me get over it, plus I'm not talking to EVERYONE at school. ttyl. >:(

COOL I made strawberry daquiris...yesterday? or the day b4, idk. Then 2day I made some smoothies that were AWESOME o ya. I love em, coz I put sherbert in em, it was good. so anyways, 2 more days till spring break and... 7 days until my bday! yay! ok anyways. MMMM I can't wait until break. yay. yay. yay. This week is going SO slow. gurrrrr. But anyhoo. I got a brochure in the mail today, and I mite b spending a week or w/e overnight at some college, well actually, prolly Davidson College in Charlotte, NC idk yet. I wonder when the next school dance is....if it's the last one, I hope that we have more than 2 hours. seriously. but idk. GURR not much to write so I guess I'll cya later! check out the pix:

hey peepz, ah today was pretty sucky, blah blah blah. I'm so glad I'm home, only 4 more days until break at least. Then Algebra test on Thursday, I better do good on this one, I think I will, I at least want a 98 hopefully a hundred or higher. ;(< LOVE my margarita pix. gurrr just another lazy lazy weekend. stayed home except for one or two quick trips out to the store etc. boring boring. I just cleaned up my drawers, and did some homework today. then I dryed/washed 2 1/2 loads of dishes and made virgin margaritas! yummy, except they had to much salt. then I watched part of a movie (in her shoes) and special features w/me mummy. so my tummy hurts now. probably from all o that salt. I really wanted to go to the mall or something today. Oh well. I will go next weekend, since it'll b the first weekend of our spring break. YAY!!!! And my birthday is the week after this one. YIPEE I neeeeed to go shopping!! lol! so cya!

TGIF! I am so happy. I just finished "And then there were none" by agatha christie! it is soooo good!!!!! OMG I really reccomend it. I wonder if there is a movie made after it, coz if so I am sooo buying it! Wow, that was like drugs. I couldn't stop I was addicted! lol, I'm such a geek but it's like, everyone in the class has been hyped up bout it too. We are reading it in our lang. arts class. anyways, I really need to go shopping, so I prolly will with my fam. and maybe do sumin w/mah friends too. idk. we have some movies from last week that we never watched but need to, coz we gotta return it 2-morrow. Hey well, I'm thinkingggg if Colleen and maybe some other peepz decide to start using blogger or this blog, I will start using it instead of Brizzlestyle, I really don't know coz I wanna use brizzlestyle 2! maybe I will just use both! hehe. haha. Anyways! Yesterday was fun, I went to Lillie's Envelope stuffing party, and then we hung out by her house. It was cool, just us...5? yeah 5, Maria, Katherine, Lillie Colleen and me. It was cool. I can't wait for summer! It was so nice and warm!!! I can't W A I T Summer is gonna b so cool coz I'm staying home! I usually go 2 LA and dont get to see my FAB ladies! Anyways, today was borin.
